Certified Overnight Postpartum Doulas are available in New York City, Hudson Valley, Rockland, NJ, and Westchester. The fee is $75.00-$85.00 per hour. All postpartum doulas are certified and in the Carrot-approved doula database, and qualify you to use fertility benefits from Carrot. Also qualified for reimbursement through Maven and Progyny.

Your postpartum doula is there to help you develop and settle into your new routine as parents.

Your postpartum doula eases the transition to parenthood by helping you learn newborn care, feeding your baby, get off to a good start, and receive practical support to care for your newborn.

Your overnight doula support is tailored to your family’s needs. Overnight care with Doula Care Postpartum Service may be provided any time from the first night home to several times per week, seven nights per week, or for several months.

You settle into bed, knowing that you will get real rest.

The next part is up to you.

If bottle feeding, the doula feeds, changes, burps, and settles your baby back to sleep.

You can enjoy a whole night’s rest.

For breastfeeding, your doula brings your baby to you when the baby is ready to feed, assists with latch/position, and observes to ensure the baby is nursing effectively and you are comfortable. After the baby finishes eating, you go back to sleep for a few more hours of sound sleep until the next feed.
The doula soothes and helps the baby fall back asleep.
Your doula rests or naps as the baby sleeps until the next feed.

Our most popular “First Night Home “overnight can be combined with any daytime care package or as a standalone booking.

The benefits of having an overnight postpartum doula for the first night home include settling in with the baby and receiving reassurance with lactation and baby care as you learn about your newborn. Then, you’re off to a confident start after having a restful night.

Minimum Overnight 10 Hours: From 9:00 pm-7:00 am
$75.00-$85.00 per hour.
